Our journey starts at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station, and then we’ll drive to Munnar. Along the way you’ll get to see some awesome waterfalls and natural sights. Once we arrive at Munnar, we’ll check into the hotel and relax for the rest of the day. We’ll spend the night there and get a good rest before the fun begins!
Let’s start the day off with some sightseeing around here. Munnar is a really cool spot, perched 1600 meters above sea level and located at the meeting point of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. It used to be a popular summer resort for the British government in South India, too!
Exploring Munnar is so much fun! You can check out Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point, then head over to Rajamalai to catch a glimpse of the Nilgiri Thars. End the day with a restful night’s sleep in Munnar!
