Upon your arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our representative who will be taking you on a drive to the beautiful village of Munnar, just 140 kilometers away. You’ll find yourself surrounded in lush greenery and majestic mountains throughout the 4-hour journey, and at the end of it, you will realize that you are 1,600 meters above sea level. Munnar is the perfect getaway! It has gorgeous sprawling estates, hills, waterfalls, and these amazing hamlets and valleys. Plus, you get to check out Cheyyapara and Valara waterfalls while you’re here. After you check into your hotel, take some time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Munnar. Spend the rest of the day as you like, then nestle in at the hotel.
Let’s start the day off with some sightseeing around here. Munnar is a really cool spot, perched 1600 meters above sea level and located at the meeting point of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. It used to be a popular summer resort for the British government in South India, too!
Exploring Munnar is so much fun! You can check out Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point, then head over to Rajamalai to catch a glimpse of the Nilgiri Thars. End the day with a restful night’s sleep in Munnar!
After you have a tasty breakfast, the second day of your Kerala Tour Package will begin! Then, you can go sightseeing to awesome places like the Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Mattupetty, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Tea Plantations, Blossom Garden and Pothamedu. Oh, don’t forget to take a fun boat ride in the lake too! You’ll be spending the night at a very nice hotel, so prepare to have a good time!
After breakfast, lets take a morning drive to Alleppey to experience the wonderful backwaters! It’s such a magical place with beautiful canals and an amazing network of backwaters. When you get here, you’ll check in to an amazing traditional Kerala houseboat and get to explore the backwaters. It’s the perfect part of an unforgettable honeymoon package in Kerala. You’ll be staying on the houseboat overnight, so it’ll be a great experience!
After a cozy breakfast, it’s time to check out and hit the road for Cochin! Once you get there, keep exploring and discover all the amazing sights the city has to offer. In the evening, let’s get you over to the airport/railway station for your departure. Have a safe journey!
